About the project
The Living Bhagavad Gita is designed around one question: how can a learner approach the original shloka, hear it clearly, understand its meaning, and compare interpretations without moving between several disconnected sources?

The data beneath the pages
The website reads from a dedicated Bhagavad Gita API serving locally stored responses. The presentation does not depend on another public scripture API at runtime, while the voice layer can fall back when a primary speech service is unavailable.
A note on interpretation
The Gita has never belonged to only one commentary tradition. The interface presents the perspectives available in its source data and encourages comparison rather than declaring one voice universally final.
